For the first time EVER, we are returning to a retreat venue, which says so much about the absolutely beautiful experience we had at Quinta Bonita in Summer 2025! We are beyond excited for another European Summer Retreat in Lagos, Portugal!

Quinta Bonita is a family home that has been lovingly maintained over decades and more recently has evolved into a stunningly beautiful yoga retreat center with both indoor and outdoor shalas fully equipped for your practice, a sun-drenched pool & terraces, and plenty of space inside to relax, read a book, and connect with the community.

The villa grounds are also so beautiful and unique in the Algarve—a labor of love by the owners, who dotingly planted, developed, and nurtured thousands of plants over the last 40 years alongside their long-standing gardener, Manuel. The gardens are a botanical haven with fountains, ponds, cobbled pathways, terraces, an orchard, a Mediterranean “dry” garden, an Italian garden, a zen garden, and a giant chess set, all within walled grounds that offer complete privacy and all with the blue of the sea in the distance glinting through the trees and bushes. We know from experience how beautiful and relaxing the space is!

There are optional healing services available as well!

More about Lagos, Portugal! With its castle walls, narrow, cobbled streets, pottery shops, and numerous sidewalk cafes, Lagos is a relaxed and charming place with beautiful beaches, cliffside views, and lots of fun shops and restaurants to explore! Praia Da Luz is only five minutes from Quinta Bonita and has a long curve of sand in a very protected bay- perfect for swimming! The villa is just moments away from some of the best beaches on the Algarve Coast, and there’s so much to see and do in the area. We loved it so much, we can’t wait to return!

Getting there: You may want to fly directly to Faro Airport (FAO), and we can help you arrange transportation from Faro Airport to the retreat center. You may want to fly into Lisbon (LIS) and take the express train to the Algarve (tickets can be purchased 60 days prior to departure.) We can help you arrange transportation from the train station to the retreat center, and train ride is approx. 4 hours. You may want to rent a car to explore the area on your own or with friends!

Included:

-6 nights accommodation in luxurious double or triple occupancy rooms at Quinta Bonita. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, comfy beds, luxury linens, local toiletries, waffle bathrobes

-Exclusive use of the villa and grounds, which includes an outdoor pool, terraced gardens, life-sized chess set, and plenty of spaces to hang and read and enjoy!

-Twice-daily yoga/meditation classes with bodyweight/banded fitness classes sprinkled throughout the week

-High-quality yoga mats and all props

-Buffet daily brunch and 3-course dinner, with afternoon snack, tea, coffee, infused water & biscuits. Seasonal and local ingredients are used for all meals, including herbs & fruits from the Quinta Bonita gardens!

PRICING + ACCOMODATIONS

(all pricing is per person & rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis! All retreaters must place a deposit in order to secure a space on retreat!)

-Double or twin occupancy rooms (options are first-come, first-served; if you have a special room request let us know and we will do our best to accommodate!): $2400/per person double occupancy ($500 deposit due upon booking; 2 $950 payments due on September 1st, 2026 and February 1st, 2027)

-King room (only one available): $2500/per person double occupancy ($500 deposit due upon booking; 2 $1000 payments due on September 1st, 2026 and February 1st, 2027)

-Triple room (only one available): $2300/per person triple occupancy ($500 deposit due upon booking; 2 $900 payments due on September 1st, 2026 and February 1st, 2027)
