Licensed massage therapist
Yoga Squared is looking to fill 1-2 massage therapist positions! Over the last 3 years we have grown this area of our offerings. Most recently, we hired a Wellness Coordinator to help manage our wellness and healing services.
At YS we are passionate about Massage Therapy and all of the health benefits that come with it. Although message is often seen as a luxury in our culture, at YS we truly feel like massage is part of preventative health care— helping us steer clear of injury, illness, and further aiding us to balance many of the body’s key systems, such as the nervous system, lymphatic system, and digestive system and so much more.
A little history: When we opened our second studio— Zen Space by Yoga Squared in 2018, we had just one LMT offering appointments at ZS (when the space wasn’t occupied with yoga classes). Fast forward to 2020, we expanded our main studio space at YS, built out a massage and Reiki room, and also installed an Infrared Sauna to help diversify and broaden our healing/recovery modalities.
Present: We now have TWO amazing LMTs who offer deep tissue, therapeutic, and relaxation styles of bodywork. These two beautiful souls have created such wonderful connections throughout our community and they keep themselves busy at YS! However, there are vacancies on our schedule when it comes to massage— time periods where the room is not in use and the demand for appointments is there! So it’s time to grow, yet again. And if you are reading this and are qualified— we want you to work with us!!
Details:
Must be a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Ohio
Must have passion for holistic health and wellness
Must be able to communicate with professionalism
Must have availability 2 days per week or more
A focus in Sports Massage would be a plus but not required
An established yoga or meditation practice is a bonus (or a sincere interest in pursuing a yogic lifestyle)

Wellness coordinator - (Position filled aug 2021)
The Yoga Squared studio is growing! In 2020 we expanded the physical space of our studio, which included the build-out of our new Massage/Reiki room and Infrared Sauna. We currently have an AMAZING Healing Services Team. We are now seeking a Wellness Coordinator to grow this area of the studio, as well as contribute to working the desk (admissions for yoga classes) and keeping the studio clean.
The Wellness Coordinator will need to have weekend availability: specifically Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings. In addition to the weekend shifts, some remote work AND/OR shorter studio shifts may be required during weekdays, but this part of the job would be flexible to your schedule.
We are looking for someone with a passion for wellness and holistic healing, as well as experience working independently. We prefer to hire someone with an established yoga, movement, or strength practice, who sees the value in community, bodywork, and intentional rest/recovery.
We will soon be adding more massage therapists to our team! Applications are not yet available for LMT positions; however, if you are a massage therapist and are interested in the positions of both LMT and Wellness Coordinator, we strongly encourage you to apply.
